Though leaving Cuenca was sad, I'm super ready for a new adventure and a change in routine. International flights don't go into Cuenca so we have to fly to Quito to go home. We got the chance to be there for about two days and let me tell you, it was a blast! Osso has an orphanage in Cuenca and Quito so it is so interesting to see the difference between the two.

The streets are BEAUTIFUL! Cobblestone streets, flags, and colorful buildings. I'm in love. Plus the stores here are so unique. So many fun chocolate stores where they grind the chocolate right infront of your face 😛🍫 plus we found the coolest store where she makes everything out of honey. Everything from chapstick and soap to shampoo, she has it. Yum.
Gotta end the day with some helado. This little parlor had the coolest flavors. I ended up with maracuya with chia seeds but they had chocolate cherry ice cream with pepper flakes, corn ice cream, chocolate with ahi, and even squash flavored! At first I was like... Uh... And then I tried them and was like "why don't I open an ice cream parlor with all these flavors?!" Soooo good.
